Spicy Fried Fish Recipe
Ingredients
| Pomfret fish | 1⁄2 Kilogram, washed and filleted | |
| Lime juice | 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Grated lime rind | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Turmeric powder | 1 Pinch | |
| Coriander | 3 Tablespoon, ground | |
| Mint | 1 Tablespoon, ground | |
| Garlic | 5 Clove (25 gm) | |
| Salt | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Green chilies | 2 , deseeded and chopped or ground | |
| Egg | 1 (Lightly Beaten With 2 Tablespoons Water) | |
| Breadcrumbs | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Oil | 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Frying) |

Directions
2 Make cuts on the fillets and rub the marinade into them and all over the pieces. Keep aside for a couple of hours if possible, otherwise for at least half ah hour. It would be better to keep the fish in the refrigerator during this period.
3 Dip in the beaten egg and then coat evenly with the breadcrumbs.
4 Heat the oil. It should be hot but not smoking. Slip the pieces about 3-4 at a time into the pan and fry till golden brown on both sides. This will take between 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and drain on the brown paper. Serve immediately.
