Quick Spicy Fish Tacos Recipe Video

Ingredients

 
·1 lb. fresh tilapia filets
 
·corn tortillas
 
·1 clove garlic, minced
 
·3/4 cup plain yogurt
 
·1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
 
·4 scallions, sliced
 
·1/2 head cabbage, thinly sliced
 
·1 serrano chili, minced
 
·juice from 1/2 lime
 
·extra virgin olive oil
 
·paprika
 
·salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1) Combine yogurt, lime juice, cabbage, cilantro,
garlic, serrano chili, scallions and tomatoes into
a large bowl and mix thorougly. Set aside.
2) Season both sides of the tilapia filets with salt,
pepper and paprika.
3) Heat oil in a large pan and cook your fish for 3-4
minutes per side.
4) Heat your tortillas to your taste (I like to toast
mine on a small hot pan).
5) Cut your fish into sections to fit your torilla.
Layer fish and a generous helping of your fresh
spicy slaw and enjoy!

I tried it for my mexican nite theme! the fish turned out great, but unfortunately the slaw took over the taco, couldnt even tell where the fish went :-( next time, i am going to put less of slaw on it. Otherwise, quick and easy.
