Ingredients

 Bacon1/4 pound, chopped
 Onion1 Large, chopped
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm), chopped
 2 15 to 16 ounce cans black beans, rinsed, drained
 Diced tomatoes1 16 Ounce, peeled
 Diced green chilies1 4 Ounce
 Chili powder2 1/2 Tablespoon
 Dried oregano2 Teaspoon
 Cayenne pepper1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

Cook bacon in heavy large saucepan over medium heat until light brown, about 10 minutes.
Add onion and garlic and saute until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add all remaining ingredients.
Simmer until chili is thick, stirring frequently, about 12 minutes.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
