Spicy Sweet Pepper Butter Recipe
Ingredients
| Black pepper-1/4 cup cracked | ||
| Jalapeno jelly-5 1/4 tablespoons | ||
| Orange-juice-1 tablespoon | ||
| Balsamic vinegar | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic-1 1/2 teaspoons-minced | ||
| Shallots-1 teaspoon-minced | ||
| Dry white wine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Butter-6 ounces -softened | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. In a large saucepan, tip in all the ingredients except the butter
2. Bring the saucepan to the boil and cook gently till it becomes a thick paste
3. Set aside to cool
MAKING
4. In a large food processor bowl, tip in the butter
5. Add the cooked paste the bowl
6. Process till a smooth colored paste is acquired. Do not allow the butter to melt
FINALIZING
7. Scrape the butter off the processor blades and shape into a square
8. Freeze till required
SERVING
9. Serve with baked fish, meats and vegetables.
