Spicy Shrimp Skillet Recipe
Ingredients
| Frozen shrimp | 1 pound | |
| Cooking oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Ginger root | 1 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Ground red pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| Water | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground coriander | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Green beans | 1/2 Ounce, cooked, drained | |
| Vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon |
Directions
Thaw shrimp, if frozen.
Shell and devein shrimp.
Heat the cooking oil in a 10-inch skillet.
Add chopped onion, minced garlic, gingerroot, red pepper, and bay leaf; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes.
Add the 1 tablespoon water and the coriander.
Cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes more. (Add more water by teaspoons, if needed, to keep the spice mixture moist.)
Add the shelled and deveined shrimp, cooked and drained green beans, vinegar, and salt to the mixture in the skillet.
Cook and stir the mixture for 5 minutes or till the shrimp is just tender.
Remove and discard the bay leaf before serving the shrimp mixture.
