| Ginger paste | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic paste | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Green chilies | 4 Medium, slit | |

| Coriander powder | 1 Tablespoon | |

| Tomato puree | 1 Can (10 oz) | |

| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Shrimp | 1 Pound, peeled, deveined, blanched |

Directions
1.Heat a non stick pan, and add the vegetable oil.
2. Add the sliced onion, curry leaves, ginger and the garlic paste. Sauté for some time until the onions are translucent and the ginger and garlic is cooked.
3.Spinkle in the turmeric and the coriander powder. Stir. Add a little water if the spice mixture tends to stick.
4.Pour in the tomato sauce and water.
5.Add the shrimp.
6.Season with salt and pepper. Stir to mix everything well.
7.Let it simmer for 20 minutes.
SERVING
8.Serve hot with steamed white rice or with your favorite bread.
TIPS
Depending on whether you are using fresh or frozen shrimp, adjust the time of cooking.
