Spicy Shrimp And Spaghetti Bake Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 medium onion, chopped
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cans (8 oz. ea.) tomato sauce
1 can (16 oz.) whole tomatoes, chopped
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper, optional
1 pound medium shrimp, shelled and cleaned
1 package (8 oz.) spaghetti, cooked and drained
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
Directions
In 3-quart casserole, combine green pepper, onion and butter.
Cook, covered with lid, at HIGH 3 to 4 minutes.
Stir in tomato sauce, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, salt and red pepper.
Cook, covered, at HIGH 8 to 9 minutes, stir once.
Stir in spaghetti and shrimp.
Cook, covered, at MEDIUM 9 to 11 minutes, or until shrimp are done and mixture is hot; stir twice.
Stir in 1/2 cup cheese.
Top with remaining cheese.
Let stand 5 minutes.
