Spicy Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley minced | |
| Green pepper | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Garlic | 2 Tablespoon, finley minced | |
| Cooking oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Broth or water - 1 cup | ||
| Tomato sauce | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Soy sauce | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Oregano | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Monosodium glutamate - dash | ||
| Shrimp - 1 pound, large or medium, raw, shelled and deveined | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a medium skillet, heat oil and sauté onion, green pepper and garlic.
2. Stir in broth, tomato sauce and soy sauce.
3. Add cayenne, oregano, and monosodium glutamate and simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Add shrimp and cook with occasional stirring until sauce thickens.
SERVING
5. Serve over a nest of hot rice or serve with rice.
