Spicy Rib Eye Roast Recipe
The spicy rib eye roast is a beef recipe prepared with garlic, paprika and cardamom for flavor. Cooked in the oven, the spicy rib eye roast is made with soy sauce and is savory with a heavy bodied taste to it.
Ingredients
| 1 (6 pound) boneless rib eye roast | ||
| 1/3 to 1/2 cup coarse or cracked pepper | ||
| Cardamom | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Soy sauce | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Red wine vinegar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tomato Paste | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Paprika | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Trim excess fat from roast.
Combine pepper and cardamom; pat onto roast.
Place roast in a large, shallow dish.
Combine soy sauce and next 4 ingredients; pour over roast.
Cover and marinate 8 hours in refrigerator, turning occasionally.
Remove roast from marinade; discard marinade.
Wrap roast in foil, and place in a shallow pan.
Insert meat thermometer, making an opening so thermometer does not touch foil.
Bake at 325° for 2 hours or until thermometer registers 145° (medium rare) or 160°
