Directions

In a medium-size bowl, sift together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and baking soda.
Mix in nuts.
In a large bowl, beat together eggs and honey.
Stir prunes into egg-honey mixture, separating prune bits with edge of spoon.
Mix in dry ingredients.
Wrap dough with plastic wrap, and chill until firm, about 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Butter 2 baking sheets.
With floured hands, roll dough into 1 1/2-inch balls, and place 1 inch apart on prepared baking sheets.
Bake on middle shelf of oven for 10 minutes.
Cool on wire racks.
