Spicy Pita Chips Recipe
Ingredients
3 (6-inch) pita bread rounds
Butter-flavored vegetable cooking spray
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Split each pita round in half crosswise; cut each half into 4 wedges.
Coat each wedge with cooking spray.
Combine garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, red pepper, paprika, and pepper in a large zip-top plastic bag; shake well.
Add pita wedges, a few at a time; secure bag, and shake to coat wedges.
Place wedges on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
Bake at 300° for 20 minutes or until lightly browned and crisp.
