Ingredients

 Pineapple1 Small
 Maple syrup1 1/2 Tablespoon
 Ground ginger1/4 Teaspoon
 Ground cinnamon1/8 Teaspoon
 Lime rind1/8 Teaspoon, grated

Directions

Remove the top and bottom ends from the pineapple.
Cut the center section lengthwise into quarters.
Remove and discard the tough inner core and the rind.
Slice each quarter in half crosswise, then into long thin spears.
Place in a 10" round baking dish.
Cover with a lid and microwave on high for 3 to 4 minutes, or until hot.
In a cup, combine the maple syrup, ginger, cinnamon, and lime rind.
Drizzle over the pineapple and stir to coat.
Cover with a lid and microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes.
Serve warm.
