Spicy Moong Dal Waffles Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 cup moong dal with skin | ||
| Green chillies | 2 , chopped | |
| Methi leaves | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Gram flour | 2 Teaspoon | |
| A pinch asafoetida (hing) | ||
| 1/4 tsp soda bi-carbonate | ||
| Sugar | 2 Pinch | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
1. Soak the moong dal in water for 3 to 4 hours. Then wash it very well.
2. Blend the soaked dal in a blender with the green chillies and a little water.
3. Add the fenugreek leaves, gram flour (besan), asafoetida, soda bi-carbonate, sugar and salt and mix well.
4. Pour a little batter at a time in a preheated waffle iron and cook until it gets crisp. Repeat for the remaining batter.
