Spicy Mincemeat Bread Recipe

Ingredients
6 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup sour cream
1 cup prepared mincemeat
3/4 cup chopped pecans
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F Grease 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Beat butter and brown sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla until blended.
Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, baking powder, nutmeg and salt.
Add flour mixture to butter mixture on low speed alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Mix well after each addition.
Stir in mincemeat and pecans on low speed until blended.
Spoon into prepared pan.
Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan 15 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
Store tightly wrapped in plastic wrap at room temperature.
