Spicy Lamb Burgers Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Curry powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Almonds | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Crushed pineapple | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), drained | |
| Ground lamb | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| Dry bread crumbs | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Pita breads | 6 |
Directions
In skillet, saute onion and curry powder in butter until onion is tender.
Stir in almonds and pineapple.
In bowl, combine onion mixture thoroughly with lamb, bread crumbs, eggs and pepper.
Shape meat mixture into 6 patties.
Grill patties, on uncovered grill, over medium-hot Match charcoal briquets about 5 minutes on each side or until done.
Grill pita breads on edge of grill.
