Spicy Honey Chicken Recipe
Spicy Sweet and Sour Chicken with Honey

Ingredients
| Chicken | 500 Gram | |
| Spring onions | 250 Gram, finely chopped | |
| Onions | 6 , minced | |
| Ginger | 4 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic paste | 4 Teaspoon | |
| Vinegar | 5 Teaspoon | |
| 5 Dry Red chillies, soaked in water and ground into paste. | ||
| Turmeric powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 3 Teaspoons Kashmiri Mirch powder or Red chili powder | ||
| Garam masala powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 4 Small sized tomatoes finely diced | ||
| 5 Teaspoons Pure Honey | ||
| 3 Teaspoons unsweetened hung yogurt | ||
| Mustard oil | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Marination:
Wash chicken pieces well and keep them aside in a bowl.
Add dry red chili paste, vinegar, 2 tsp ginger garlic paste, Half of minced ginger, garlic paste, 3tsp mustard oil, salt, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp Kashmiri Mirch powder and curd into the chicken bowl.
Mix well so that all the chicken pieces are well marinated.
Keep aside for 2 Hours
Cooking:
Heat mustard oil in a wok.
As soon as oil starts smoking add remaining minced onions, garlic paste, kashmiri chili powder, turmeric powder and finely chopped spring onions.
Stir fir the ingredients till well cooked ( check for oil seeping through the ingredients).
Add the marinated chicken pieces and the marinade.
Keep stirring for 15 minutes.
Add tomatoes, garam masala powder, remaining ginger paste, yogurt and pepper. Add little water if needed.
Stir for 10 minutes.
Add salt and cover the wok.
Cook for 20 minutes.
Add honey and stir to mix it well.
Serve hot with rice.
