Spicy Hamburger Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| 1 Ige. onion, chopped | ||
| 4 Ige. potatoes, cubed | ||
| Carrots | 4 , sliced | |
| Cabbage | 1/2 , shredded | |
| Tomatoes | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bay leaf | 1/2 | |
| Thyme | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Rice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Saute ground beef and onion in small amount of fat in Dutch oven; drain off fat.
Add 4 cups water, potatoes, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, bay leaf, thyme, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil; add rice.
Reduce heat; cover.
Simmer for 2 hours.
Add water as needed during first 30 minutes.
