Spicy Ham Steak Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
1 cup each dry sherry and pineapple juice
2 teaspoons each ground cloves and paprika
1/4 teaspoon each dry mustard and firmly packed brown sugar
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
1 center cut ham slice cut 1 inch thick
Directions
Combine butter, sherry, pineapple juice, cloves, paprika, mustard, sugar, and garlic.
Pour over ham, cover, and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
Lift ham from marinade and drain briefly (reserve marinade).
Place ham on lightly greased grill 4 to 6 inches above a solid bed of low-glowing coals.
Cook, turning and basting frequently, for about 20 minutes or until browned and hot.
