Spicy Country Ribs Recipe
Spicy country ribs is a grill cooked ribs recipe. Made with country style spareribs, these ribs are flavored with chili and mustard sauce, flavored with added hot pepper and garlic to taste.
Ingredients
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
1/2 cup red wine
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/8 teaspoon pepper
5 pounds country-style spareribs
Directions
In medium skillet, saute onion and garlic in oil until onion is soft but not brown.
Stir in remaining ingredients except spareribs.
Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, 20 minutes.
Trim any excess fat from ribs.
Arrange ribs in shallow glass dish.
Cover with plastic wrap, vented, Microwave at 50% power 20 minutes rearranging ribs once.
Remove From oven.
Brush ribs with sauce.
Lightly oil grid.
Grill ribs, on covered grill, over medium-hot Charcoal Briquets 30 minutes or until cooked through, turning often and basting with sauce.
