Spicy Coconut Pears Recipe

Directions
Combine 1/4 cup reserved liquid, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves; stir until smooth.
Set aside.
Combine remaining 3/4 cup pear liquid, sugar, lemon juice, and butter in a small saucepan.
Gradually stir in cornstarch mixture; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Arrange pears in an 8 inch square baking dish.
Pour sauce over pears; sprinkle with coconut.
Bake at 350° for 15 minutes
