Spicy Clam Spread Recipe
Ingredients
| Green onion | 1 | |
| Cottage cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Worcestershire | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Mayonnaise | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon or lime juice | ||
| 1/8 teaspoon each garlic salt and liquid hot pepper seasoning | ||
| Minced | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| 16 pieces Melba toast or 2 English muffins, split, buttered, and toasted | ||

Directions
Cut onion and top in 1-inch lengths.
Using metal blade, process onion until chopped.
Add cottage cheese, Worcestershire, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic salt, and hot pepper seasoning.
Process for 3 seconds.
Scrape sides of bowl with spatula and process for 3 more seconds.
Drain clams (save liquid for soup), add to cheese, and process with 2 on-off bursts.
Stir in salt and pepper to taste.
(Cover and refrigerate if made ahead.) Just before serving, spread mixture on Melba toast or English muffin halves.
Place on a cooky sheet in a preheated broiler about 3 inches from heat.
Broil until mixture is bubbly and heated through (about 3 minutes).
