Spicy Chili Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 quarts peeled, cored, chopped, red-ripe tomatoes | ||
| Onions | 2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 1/2 cups chopped sweet green peppers | ||
| Sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery seed | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Allspice | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cloves | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Vinegar | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a large sauce pot.
Bring to a boil; simmer until as thick as desired, about 1 to 2 hours.
Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
Pour hot into hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch head space.
Adjust caps.
Process 15 minutes in boiling water bath.
