 4 quarts peeled, cored, chopped, red-ripe tomatoes
 Onions2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 1 1/2 cups chopped sweet green peppers
 Sugar1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Celery seed1 Tablespoon
 Salt1 Tablespoon
 Allspice1 Teaspoon
 Cloves1 Teaspoon
 Cinnamon1 Teaspoon
 Ginger1 Teaspoon
 Vinegar1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a large sauce pot.
Bring to a boil; simmer until as thick as desired, about 1 to 2 hours.
Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
Pour hot into hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch head space.
Adjust caps.
Process 15 minutes in boiling water bath.
