Spicy Roquefort Cheese Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients
| Chicken wings | 10 | |
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Hot pepper sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic salt | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Roquefort Dipping Sauce | ||
| Minced onion | 1 Tablespoon, dried | |
| Milk | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sour cream | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Roquefort Cheese - 2 ounces, crumbled | ||
| Garlic salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika - additional | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 375 F
MAKING
2) Spray with non stick cooking oil into a jelly roll pan
3) Using a sharp knife, cut off the tips of the wings and keep aside
4) At the joint of each wing, cut into half
5) Into the pan, arrange the wings
6) Into a saucepan, add the butter to melt over a medium heat
7) Add in the hot pepper sauce, 3/4 teaspoon of garlic salt and 1/4 teaspoon of the paprika
8) Spread evenly onto the laid out chicken wings
9) Bake for 30 minutes
10) Using tongs, turn the chicken wings every 10 minutes
11) Bake for an additional 30 minutes
12) Into a blender, add in the milk, sour cream Roquefort cheese. Cover and blend at medium speed until smooth, scraping sides as needed.
13) Transfer to a serving container and sprinkle with paprika.
14 ) Let stand at least 15 minutes to blend flavors.
SERVING
15) To serve, drain wings on paper towels before arranging them on a platter.
16 ) Serve warm accompanied with the Roquefort Dipping Sauce.
