Spicy Barbecue Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Vegetable oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Onion | 1 , chopped | |
| 1 Tb each drained horseradish and dry mustard | ||
| Dried oregano | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Red wine vinegar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1-1/2 ketchup cups | ||
| 1/3 cup liquid honey | ||
| Packed brown sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Tabasco sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat; cook garlic and onion 3 minutes or until softened.
Add horseradish, mustard, oregano, vinegar and salt. Simmer 3 minutes.
Stir in ketchup, honey, brown sugar, Worcestershire and Tabasco sauces. Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste; add more Tabasco if necessary. (Sauce can be made up to 1 week ahead; refrigerate, covered. Reheat gently to serve.)
