Spicy Baking Powder Doughnuts Recipe

In a large mixer bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and oil at medium speed; add buttermilk.
Add dry ingredients all at once and beat just until smooth.
Cover and chill 1 hour.
Meanwhile, begin heating fat in a deep fat fryer; insert deep fat thermometer.
Roll dough 1/2" thick on a lightly floured surface and cut with a doughnut cutter; reroll and cut scraps.
When fat reaches 375° F slide 4 doughnuts into fat.
Fry doughnuts 2-3 minutes until brown all over, using tongs to turn.
Drain on paper toweling; roll in topping while still warm or dip in Easy White Icing.
