Directions

Cream together brown sugar and butter until fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
Add to creamed mixture; mix well.
Add nuts and apples.
Spread in well-greased and floured 8" square baking pan.
Bake in 350° oven 25 minutes or until done.
Do not overbake.
Cut into squares.
Before serving, dust with sifted confectioners sugar.
