Combine next 3 ingredients in large kettle; tie spices in cheesecloth bag, and add.
Bring to boil, and simmer 5 minutes.
Add all fruit to kettle; simmer gently 15 minutes.
Remove from heat, cover ket-tle and let stand overnight.
Next morning bring to boil; remove peaches carefully, and pack in hot sterilized jars; add prunes and cherries to fill spaces around peaches.
Boil syrup hard 20 minutes; discard spice bag, and pour liquid into jars, covering fruit completely.
Store in cool dry place.
