Sweet Spiced Peach Jelly Recipe
Ingredients
| Canned diced peaches | 1 Cup (16 tbs), drained, liquid reserved | |
| Peach liquid | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Whole cloves | 6 | |
| Cinnamon stick | 1 | |
| Peach gelatin envelope | 1⁄4 Ounce | |
| Boiling water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
Combine peach liquid, vinegar, sugar, cloves, and cinnamon; bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat; strain.
If necessary, add water to make 1 cup.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Stir in spiced peach syrup.
Chill until slightly thickened.
Fold in diced peaches.
Pour into a 3 cup mold and chill until firm.
