Spiced Ham on a Rotisserie Recipe

Ingredients
5 to 6 pound canned ham
1/4 teaspoon each groundvcloves and nutmeg
1/2cup apricot, peach or pineapple preserves
2 teaspoons lemon juice
Directions
Tie ham with string in 2 or 3 places.
Insert rotisserie spit lengthwise through the center of the meat and secure with prongs.
Sprinkle spices evenly over surface of ham.
Insert a roast meat thermometer parallel to spit in the meat.
Place spit in position in a rotisserie or over a bed of hot coals.
Heat to 130°F. internal temperature, allowing 10 to 15 min- utes per pound.
Combine preserves and lemon juice.
Spoon sweet sauce over ham last 5 minutes of cooking period, or after ham is removed from the spit.
