Toss together sugar and spices in a 1 1/2qt.glass casserole dish.
Stir in walnuts.
Cut butter into 6 pieces and arrange over top of nuts.
Microwave 5 to 7 minutes, stirring twice during cooking.
Immediately after cooking, pour nuts onto strip of aluminum foil and toss to coat nuts with sugar mixture.
