Spiced Apple And Fig Jam Recipe
The spiced apple and fig jam is prepared with apples and dried figs. Cooked along with pectin and sugar with spices for flavor, the spiced apple and pectin jam can be sealed and stored for later use. It can be served with buns and toasts.
Ingredients
| Apples | 3 Large, chopped | |
| Dried figs | 500 Gram, chopped | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 tablespoon pectin | ||
| Mixed spice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions

Combine apples, figs and water in a 3-litre casserole.
Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes on HIGH, 2.
Stir in sugar, pectin and mixed spice.
Cook, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes on HIGH, stirring 2-3 times during cooking.

Test that jam gels.

Pour into sterilised jars and seal.
