 Sugar3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Flour1 Tablespoon
 Salt3/4 Teaspoon
 Ground ginger1 Teaspoon
 1/2 teaspoon powdered mace
 Eggs3 Large
 1 1/2 cups mashed cooked butternut or hubbard squash
 Milk1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 2 tablespoons light mild molasses
 Butter/Margarine2 Tablespoon, melted
 Whipped cream

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat moderate oven (350°F.)

MAKING
2) In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, salt, ginger, and mace.
3) Beat in eggs and blend.
4) Add squash, milk, molasses, and butter and mix thoroughly.
5) Grease 1 1/2 -quart casserole and pour the content into it.
6) Bake in oven for 1 1/4 hours.

SERVING
7) This dessert can be served with whipped cream.
