Spiced Red Cabbage Recipe
Spiced red cabbage is a flavorful cabbage recipe fruited with apples and raisins. Cooked along with onions for flavor, the red cabbage is spiced with cloves and allspice. | White wine vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Heat Oil in Dutch oven or large saucepan.
Add cabbage, onion, apple, raisins, cloves and allspice.
Stir to coat.
Cover.
Cook over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, about 1 hour, or until cabbage is tender.
Stir in vinegar, sugar and salt.
