| Tomatoes | 1 pound, skinned | |
| Onion | 1 | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm) | |
| Groundnut oil | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Coriander seeds | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Cumin seeds | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cardamom Pod - 1 | ||
| Ground ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Chili powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Ground pepper | 1 To taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Into a large frying pan, heat some oil and sauté the sliced onions till soft and golden
2) Using a pestle and mortar pound the spices
3) Add garlic to the spices
4) Add the spices to the onion and stir well till everything is just heat through
5) Add the prawns and stir them to coat with the spice
6) Add the tomatoes, salt and pepper
7) Bring to a simmer and cook for 25 minutes on low heat till all the liquid has reduced
SERVING
8) Serve the prawns with some Palau rice
