Spiced Pork Roast Recipe
Ingredients
| 3 green onions, cut up | ||
| Soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cooking oil | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground allspice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground red pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Boneless pork loin roast | 4 pound, tied | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 1/2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice | ||
Directions
In a blender container or food processor bowl combine green onions, soy sauce, oil, salt, ginger, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and red pepper.
Cover and blend or process until nearly smooth.
Remove string or netting from meat.
Trim fat from meat; separate meat.
Pat soy mixture onto all sides of meat.
Reassemble meat; tie with clean cotton string.
Place in a shallow dish.
Cover and marinate in refrigerator for 8 to 24 hours.
Place meat on convection roasting rack set on top of broiler pan.
Insert a meat thermometer into center of meat.
