Spiced Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 pork chops, cut 1-inch thick | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Bay leaves | 2 | |
| Wine vinegar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Peppercorns | 2 To taste | |
| Shortening | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Place all ingredients but shortening in a skillet and soak for 5 minutes.
Cover, bring quickly to steaming and then lower heat and simmer until nearly dry.
Add shortening and brown chops on both sides.
