 Bacon pieces3 Pound, tied
 3 tbs fancy molasses, honey or maple syrup
 Brown sugar3 Tablespoon
 Dry mustard2 Teaspoon
 1 1/2 to 2 tsp mixed ground spice, your choice
 Dry bread crumbs

Directions

Cover back bacon with water and bring to a boil.
Turn heat low and cover.
Simmer 1 1/2 hours on heat or in a 350F oven.
Drain and place fat up in a small lightly oiled shallow bake dish.
Mix the next four ingredients together and stir in enough dry crumbs to thicken to a paste.
Spread over top and sides.
Pour 1/2 cup water into the pan to prevent sticking and bake at 325F for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
