Ingredients

 Half and Half1 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 tablespoon top-quality loose-leaf green tea
 Sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/4 cup orange blossom honey
 Whipping cream1 Pint
 Salt1/8 Teaspoon
 Lemon peel1 Teaspoon, freshly grated
 1 teaspon fresh lemon juice
 Vanilla extract1/2 Teaspoon
 Ground nutmeg1/4 Teaspoon
 Ground ginger1/2 Teaspoon
 Small amount moss-green paste food coloring or 3 drops liquid food coloring

Directions

In a small saucepan, heat half and half over low heat until hot.
Add tea; remove from heat.
Steep 5 minutes.
Strain through a fine strainer into a large bowl.
Discard tea leaves.
Stir sugar and honey into hot mixture until dissolved; cool to room temperature.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Chill ice cream base; freeze in an ice cream machine according to manufacturer's directions.
