| Mixed dried fruits package | 1 | |
| 1 jar (about 2 ounces) tiny cinnamon candies | ||
| Lemon peel | 1/4 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Quick-cooking tapioca | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Grapefruit juice | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Grapefruits | 3 | |
Directions
MAKING
1 In a medium-size saucepan, combine dried fruits, cinnamon candies, lemon peel and water.
2 Heat to boiling and simmer for 25 minutes, or until fruits are tender. Pour into a large bowl.
3 In the same saucepan, combine tapioca, sugar and grapefruit juice.
4 Let stand for 5 minutes. Heat slowly, stirring several times, just until the mixture comes to a full rolling boil.
5 Pour over cinnamon-fruit mixture.
6 Over a medium-size bowl, pare grapefruits section to catch the juice; remove seeds, if any.
7 Fold fruit and juice into dried-fruit mixture.
SERVING
8 Spoon into individual serving dishes; serve warm.
