Spiced Grapefruit Recipe

Ingredients

 Grapefruit2 Large
 Butter1 Ounce
 Brown sugar1 2 Ounce
 Mixed spice1/2 1 Teaspoon
 Cherries—glace or Maraschino to decorate

Directions

Halve the grapefruit and loosen the pulp from the skins, discarding pips and pith.
Spread with the softened butter and sprinkle sugar and spice over the top.
Put for about 4 min under a hot grill or for 10 min in a fairly hot oven (400° F., Gas 6).
Decorate with cherries and serve at once.
