Spiced Baked Cod Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 cod steaks salt | ||
| Juice of 1/2 lemon | ||
| 5fl. oz. natural (unflauored) yogurt | ||
| Garam masala | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cumin seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Chilli powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| 2 teaspoons vinegar lemon wedges to garnish | ||
Directions
Arrange the cod steaks in a shallow ovenproof dish and sprinkle with salt and lemon juice.
Mix the yogurt with the spices, garlic and vinegar.
Pour this mixture over the fish and leave in a cool place to marinate for about 4 hours.
Bake in a moderately hot oven, 375°F, Gas Mark 5 for 30 minutes.
