Spiced Applesauce Bread Recipe

| Milk | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Baking soda | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1⁄2 Tablespoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1⁄4 Tablespoon | |
| Pecans | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Flour | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1⁄2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1⁄4 Tablespoon | |
| Allspice | 1⁄4 Tablespoon |

Directions
Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and seasonings.
Stir into applesauce mixture and beat well.
Fold in 1/4 c.chopped pecans.
Turn into well greased 9" x 5" x 3" loaf pan.
Combine: 1/4 c.chopped pecans, 1/4 c.brown sugar and 1/2 t.cinnamon.
Sprinkle over top of batter.
Bake in 350° oven for 1 hour or until done.
Remove from pan and cool on rack.
Yields 1 loaf.
