 Cake floor - 2 1/4 cup
 Baking powder1 Tablespoon

 Cinnamon1 Teaspoon
 Allspice1/2 Teaspoon
 Cloves1/2 Teaspoon
 Nutmeg1/2 Teaspoon
 Eggs2 Small
 Butter1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Mocha Frosting:)
 Egg yolk1 (Mocha Frosting:)
 Strong coffee2 Tablespoon (Mocha Frosting:)
 Unsweetened chocolate square2 (Mocha Frosting:)
 Confectioner’s sugar2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Mocha Frosting:)

Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven moderate to 375°.

MAKING
2. In a bowl add 2 tblsp milk, lard and vanilla. Whip the mixture to cream.
3. Alternately whip the mixer for 2 minutes at medium speed.
4. Stir in sifted dry ingredients along with 2/3 milk.
5. Beat in a mixer for 2 minutes at medium speed.
6. Mix remaining milk and eggs.
7. Beat in a mixer for 2 minutes till done.
8. Grease two 8" layer pans and pour the mixture into it.
9. Bake for 35 minutes.
10. Turn on racks to cool.
11. Frost with Mocha Frosting.
12. To prepare Micha Forsting, in a bowl cream butter.
13. Fold in egg yolk, coffee, and melted chocolate. Mix well.
14. Gently add sugar and blend until smooth.

SERVING
15. Serve sliced.
