Ingredients
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried rhyme
1/4 teaspoon dried chervil
1/8 teaspoon pepper
4 beef cube steaks (about 1 pound)
Vegetable cooking spray
2 tablespoons dry white wine
2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1 large ripe tomato, cut into wedges
Directions
Combine first 5 ingredients; dredge steaks in flour mixture.
Coat a large skillet with cooking spray add steaks, and cook over medium heat 5 minutes on each side.
Drain on paper towels, and wipe skillet clean.
Return steaks to skillet; add wine, water, and onion.
Cover and simmer 6 minutes or until steaks are tender.
Add tomato wedges to skillet; cover and simmer 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
