Speedy Chicken Chasseur Recipe
Ingredients
2 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 3 ounce can sliced mushrooms, drained
2/3 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
2 teaspoons cornstarch
8 carry out fried chicken legs
Directions
In 10 inch skillet combine chopped tomatoes, mushrooms, half the wine, butter or margarine, bouillon, instant minced onion, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and oregano.
Bring to a boil; cover and simmer till tomatoes are tender, about 3 minutes.
Blend together cornstarch and remaining wine; stir into mixture.
Cook, stirring constantly, till thickened and bubbly.
Add carry out fried chicken; simmer till heated through, about 5 minutes.
Makes 4 servings.
