Special Watercress Salad Recipe

3 bunches watercress
 
2 onions, sliced thin
 
4 slices bacon
 
2 eggs
 
2 c. salad oil
 
2 tbsp. horseradish
 
1/4 c. catsup
 
2 tbsp. grated onion
 
1 tsp. salt
 
1/3c. vinegar
 
2 tbsp. paprika
 
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
 
1/8 tsp. hot sauce

Directions

Remove coarse stems from watercress; tear into bite-sized pieces into salad bowl.
Separate onions into rings; add to watercress.
Fry bacon until crisp; drain.
Crumble bacon over onions.
Combine eggs, oil, horseradish, catsup, onion, salt, vinegar, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce in quart jar; blend thoroughly.
Pour desired amount of dressing over salad; toss lightly.
Serve immediately.
Remaining dressing may be refrigerated until needed.
