Sparkling Wine Orange Sorbet Recipe
Ingredients
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Orange juice - 3/4 cup unsweetened | ||
| Sparkling white Zinfandel wine or champagne - 3/4 cup | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a small saucepan bring to a boil combining water and sugar.
2. Reduce heat, and simmer 2 minutes or until sugar dissolves, stirring frequently.
3. Remove from heat and stir in orange juice and wine.
4. Let it cool and pour mixture into freezer can of a hand-turned or electric freezer.
5. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
SERVING
6. Into dessert bowls, scoop mixture and serve immediately.
7. Garnish with mint sprigs, if desired.
