Sparkling Burgundy Punch Recipe
Ingredients
| Tea | 1 Quart, brewed | |
| Rum | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cognac | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Juice of 2 lemons | ||
| Sparkling water | 1 Quart, chilled | |
| 1 bottle sparkling Burgundy | ||
| 1 cup sugar syrup made by brief!) boiling 2 cups sugar with 1 cup | ||
Directions
1. When the tea has cooled to room temperature, add the rum, cognac and lemon juice. Chill.
2. When ready to serve, pour the mixture into a punch bowl. Add sufficient ice to chill and stir in the sparkling water and sparkling Burgundy. Sweeten to taste with sugar syrup and serve immediately.
