Ingredients

 Tea1 Quart, brewed
 Rum1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cognac1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Juice of 2 lemons
 Sparkling water1 Quart, chilled
 1 bottle sparkling Burgundy
 1 cup sugar syrup made by brief!) boiling 2 cups sugar with 1 cup

Directions

1. When the tea has cooled to room temperature, add the rum, cognac and lemon juice. Chill.
2. When ready to serve, pour the mixture into a punch bowl. Add sufficient ice to chill and stir in the sparkling water and sparkling Burgundy. Sweeten to taste with sugar syrup and serve immediately.
