 2 sections spareribs cut into portions
 Sauerkraut1 Pound
 Salt3/4 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/8 Teaspoon
 Flour2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Egg1 , beaten
 1 tsp. baking powdet
 Milk1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Sprinkle spareribsvwith salt and pepper and place in roasting pan with sauerkraut cover and bake in moderate oven (350 F.) for 1 1/2 hours.
Make dumplings by combining flour, egg, baking powder, and milk.
Drop by spoonfuls on sauerkraut, cover pan again, and cook 1/2 hour longer.
