| Ham | 1⁄4 Pound, chopped | |
| Onion | 1 , chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5 gm), minced | |
| Tomatoes | 2 , chopped | |
| Green peppers | 2 , chopped | |
| Spanish sausages | 2 , cut in 1 inch pieces | |
| Cabbage | 1⁄2 Small, shredded | |
| Carrots | 3 , scraped and cut in 1-inch pieces | |
| Potatoes | 1 Pound, quartered | |
| Green beans | 1⁄2 Pound, cut in 1 inch pieces | |
| Canned chickpeas | 1 Pound (Drained) |
Directions
Brown beef on all sides in fat in deep kettle.
Add salt, pepper, water, ham, onion, garlic, tomatoes, and green peppers; bring to a boil.
Cover.
Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour; add remaining ingredients.
Cook for 30 minutes, or until meat and vegetables are tender.
